Last night I arrived home after a weeklong vacation with the family to find copies of Almost Amish waiting for me! Vacation… books… it doesn’t get any better than that!

Nice coming home present! I can’t wait to read it. Are you going to be doing any book signings, jetting around the country, and all that other author stuff? See you soon.

Thanks Darla. I hope you enjoy it!
I am jetting off to Tennessee for my hometown book launch in a couple of weeks. Not many bookstores left in Santa Barbara for signings 🙁

I live near Amish Country in Ohio and love to visit…it’s nice to fantasize about the Plain life but I am sure 1 day without TV would break me! Also, I loved old reality shows like “Frontier House”…this seems like the perfect mashup of both genres! Can’t wait to read it.

What a splendid idea for a story. I came across this right after a conversation with my wife who sounds remarkably like the heroine in this tale. Can’t wait to tell her about it.

I would love to win a copy of this book. It sounds terrific. The Amish way of life sounds so interesting to me except for the lack of technology of course.

Congrats on the release Kathryn! I look forward to reading it. I wish I was more like Martha Stewart in some ways, especially gardening! Hope you have a great 4th of July!

I came here from Shelf Awareness, but I’m not sure if it’s too late to enter for the chance to win a copy of Almost Amish. It looks really interesting and like something that I would enjoy! I am definitely a Type C parent — I will help if necessary, but I figure I do enough things for them outside of the school so I hate to get roped into book fairs and field trips on top of everything else!
